Luka Lochoshvili is moving to 1. FC Nürnberg and is bringing a breath of fresh air to the Franconian squad! An impressive career

Born on May 29, 1998 in Georgia, Lochoshvili began his career in the youth teams of Dinamo Tbilisi. He made his debut in the professional team there in 2016. After a short interlude at Dinamo Kiev, where he signed a five-year contract, he went on loan to Dinamo Tbilisi and Žilina in the Slovak league. He made his debut in the Fortuna Liga with Žilina and then returned to Tbilisi for a short time in 2020 before moving to Austria to Wolfsberger AC.

There he not only experienced sporting heights, but also showed strong nerves when he saved the life of an unconscious teammate in February 2022 and was awarded the Dignity Cross for this. He scored his first goal for Wolfsberger AC in March 2021 and was also recognized for his achievements with the Fair Play Award at The Best FIFA Football Awards 2022.

National successes and international assignments

Lochoshvili was also able to prove himself on the international stage. He scored one goal in a total of 23 international matches for the Georgian national team.
