In the picturesque setting of Nuremberg Castle, the “longest beer garden” in Europe will open its doors from June 18th to 22nd, 2025. This big festival for beer lovers, the 26th Franconian Beer Festival, promises an unforgettable experience for young and old. Around 40 breweries are celebrating and presenting over 100 different types of beer - from classic cellar beers to smoky variants to sparkling craft beers that pamper the palate. Renowned breweries such as Mönchshof, Schanzenbräu and Kapuziner Weißbier are represented as well as smaller companies such as Ahörnla Bräu and Gampert-Bräu as well as international guests such as the Dutch brewery OLDSKOOL and Browar Fortuna from Poland.
The event area extends over the historic moat of the Imperial Castle, which is sure to transform into a popular meeting place. Entry to the festival is free – a treat for all gourmets and beer lovers. We recommend using public transport to get there. The Tiergärtnertor stop is easily accessible from tram lines 4 and 10.
