Workshop on settlement development: Your ideas are in demand!
There are turbulent and exciting times ahead in Cologne! On Saturday, November 8, 2025, a workshop on the further development of the southern settlements will take place from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Organized by the city planning office and the South Settlements Citizens' Association in the St. Wunibald parish hall, Saarbrückener Straße 63, the city invites all interested citizens to contribute their ideas on the future of housing. The focus of the workshop is on the Falkenheim, Kettelersiedlung and Neulandsiedlung settlements, which are located south of the marshalling yard and along the Ludwigskanal route and Münchener Straße. Input is required here in order to maintain and carefully develop the developed character of the areas. The results of this workshop will be documented in a catalog containing suggestions for developers and administration.
