Citizens' Festival in Bodenwöhr: Countdown is on for the club festival!
Preparations for the community festival in Bodenwöhr, which will take place in the town center on July 12th and 13th, are in full swing. At a meeting, Mayor Georg Hoffmann and Melitta Windl, who comes from the tourism office, welcomed around 25 representatives from various local associations to clarify the final details. The community festival promises to be a big event for the community!
In addition, the Hammersee Festival is coming up on August 9th, which will be celebrated along the picturesque Hammersee. Both events not only offer a lot of fun, but also culinary delights and a diverse music program. Safety is a top priority: entrances to the festival grounds will be blocked off with vehicles or toilet containers for safety reasons. A total of three toilet containers will be set up and the security precautions will be further refined in discussions with the police.
Program and offers
A special highlight for visitors is the music offerings. On Saturday from 5 p.m. the band Narrisch from Seebarn will provide entertainment, while on Sunday from 10:30 a.m. the group Boarisch-Oberkrain will perform. The musical finale on Sunday will be the band Flashlight from Bruck from 4 p.m. In addition, SV Altenschwand will be taking part in the community festival for the first time with a lottery booth, which will provide additional entertainment.
Drink prices remain stable compared to last year: a pint of beer costs 7.80 euros, water is available for 2.80 euros and a glass of wheat is available for 3.80 euros. In addition, tokens are available for five euros and drinks tokens for four euros. If you're feeling hungry every now and then, the Pizzeria Bella Rosa runs a pizza stand in the tried and tested tradition. Stands and action locations will remain the same as in previous years, and there will be power supply at all locations.
Environmental awareness and disposal
In order to have a good hand when it comes to environmental protection, reserve spokesman Stefan Beil appealed to the clubs to set up their own garbage racks. Waste can be disposed of in a container at the FF tool shed, which is a useful addition to waste disposal. Melitta Windl also announced that cards with the most important contact details and telephone numbers would be distributed to the clubs in order to further facilitate the organization.
This year, however, the Hammerseefest will take place without a flea market, which is due to the illness of the initiator. Nevertheless, visitors can look forward to numerous other attractions.
