The city of Schweinfurt can expect a day full of glitz and glamor on Monday, July 7th, when the station mission takes place Beauty day invites. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., platform 1 at the main station will be the scene of pampering offers for people on a tight budget. In the spirit of social support, visitors can receive haircuts, manicures, make-up and foot care free of charge.
Behind this initiative is a dedicated team of volunteers, including hairdressers, beauticians and chiropodists, who work hard to ensure that guests can enjoy a little break from everyday life. The necessary food is also provided: fruit cocktails, coffee and freshly prepared fruit skewers round off the experience.
Feel good and strengthen self-confidence
The Beauty day not only offers a range of services, but also acts as a platform for discussions and exchange. Participants can win small prizes on a wheel of fortune and chat to the team at the same time. This event aims to strengthen people's self-confidence and offer support in precarious life situations. Voluntary donations are of course very welcome to ensure that the offerings continue in the future.

Shared commitment
The station mission is carried out in this project by Association IN VIA Würzburg, the Würzburg Diocesan Caritas Association and the Diakonie Schweinfurt. These actors work to ensure that everyone in society has access to basic services and ensure that seniors with few social contacts can also receive appropriate accompaniment and support.
