The return of the little goblin delights viewers young and old: Bernadette Leopold from Starnberg will take on the role of the shepherd's daughter Elli in the new season of "Pumuckl". The series, which hit cinemas in October with the film “Pumuckl and the Big Misunderstanding”, promises fresh stories about the popular character.

Pumuckl, a red-haired goblin and descendant of the Klabautermen, lives with Master Eder, a master carpenter who always tries to impart moral values ​​to him. But the mischievous Pumuckl often gets Eder into trouble, which leads to numerous funny and educational stories. This first season will be broadcast on the streaming portal RTL+ and later in RTL's classic program and in the children's format Toggo.

A new adventure for Pumuckl

The backdrop for Pumuckl's new adventures is designed by none other than Marcus H. Rosenmüller, who was also responsible for the film and the first season. Bernadette Leopold, who is currently studying acting at the renowned Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna, has already made a name for herself in the German film scene. Her appearance as the Weisswurst Queen in Munich's Tatort in October 2023 is just one example of her talent. She plans to complete her studies in the summer of 2026 and is looking forward to a permanent engagement in the theater as well as further film and television work.
