Hot start in district class 2: Obing and Schnaitsee full of expectations!

On August 15, 2025, the football district class 2 will start the season with an exciting first match day. There are several interesting games on the program. TV Obing will face TSV Breitbrunn/Gstadt in the eagerly awaited derby, while the kickers from TSV Schnaitsee will compete against the second team from TSV 1860 Rosenheim. Also there is SpVgg Pittenhart, which will compete with newly promoted SC Rechtmehring, who prevailed in the relegation in a dramatic penalty shootout against SV Vogtareuth.

There are some changes in the league this season. Five new teams have moved into district class 2, including three from Rosenheim: TSV 1860 Rosenheim II, NK Croatia and Türkspor. The two promoted teams, SG Reichertsheim-Ramsau/Gars II as champions and SC Rechtmehring as runners-up, bring a breath of fresh air into the league. The co-favorites in the league, SV/DJK Griesstätt, TSV Eiselfing and TSV Wasserburg II, will also cause a stir in the coming weeks.

Team preparations

The preparation of the individual teams was different. So SpVgg Pittenhart could hope for the desired results after appearing stable after a long phase of preparation. Coach Artur Justus remains in office and has brought Michael Blaschke from the youth team into the squad. TV Obing, on the other hand, had a balanced preparation with one win and one defeat and is now starting the season with fresh enthusiasm.

TSV Schnaitsee, on the other hand, is faced with injury problems. The new player-coach Michael Neumeier and another player, Dürnegger, are out, which dampens the expectations of the team somewhat. The newly structured coaching team, consisting of Neumeier, assistant coach Philipp Unterforsthuber and goalkeeping coach Max Neustifter, will try to make the best of the situation. After disappointing results in the test matches, which only resulted in a win against Schonstett (2:1), the team is under pressure.

Comments on the current situation

The Breitbrunn coaching team, led by Thomas Winklhofer and department head Thomas Schmidbauer, draw a positive conclusion about the preparation. They are confident that the work in preparation will bear fruit and that the team is ready to face the challenges of the new season.

The fans and players of the teams involved are looking forward to the beginning of the season with excitement, which will show which team has the best cards in the new league. The first duels definitely promise exciting football in district class 2.
