BAM 2025 career fair: Opportunities for young talents in Altmühlfranken!
On November 22, 2025 it's time again: Off to BAM! The career and training fair in the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district brings together numerous interested parties on one day to get to know the best training opportunities on site. The fair takes place at three central locations: the Gunzenhausen town hall, the Treuchtlingen town hall and the Weißenburg middle school. From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., young people and their parents can go on a discovery tour.
If you are looking for comprehensive career advice in the region, you have come to the right place. Over 100 companies and institutions present their training positions and dual study programs. New this year are numerous exhibitors in Treuchtlingen who will provide a breath of fresh air. A free shuttle bus runs between the three locations every 30 minutes, so that all locations can be easily reached.
Special program for high school graduates
There is a special highlight for high school graduates: a high school program in Treuchtlingen. Regional universities will provide information about their dual study programs here. The Treuchtlingen University of Applied Management, the Ansbach University and the Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University will be represented. The employment agency also offers on-site advice for high school graduates, which provides valuable tips for starting your professional life.
The digital career orientation platform “My Future Altmühlfranken” complements the trade fair perfectly and provides information about apprenticeships and internships all year round. With almost 100 employers from various industries, there are plenty of options to browse and research. Interactive tools such as a chat function also enable direct contact between students and companies.
A competition and more await visitors
There is an additional incentive for everyone who takes part in BAM: a competition with Altmühlfranken vouchers for all visitors who explore all three locations. This provides even more motivation to take a look at the diverse offerings.

In the context of the current training market situation, visiting the trade fair is particularly valuable. According to an analysis by the Federal Institute for Vocational Training (BIBB), it shows that the number of newly concluded training contracts fell by 0.5% to around 486,700 in 2024. This is a sign that although the training market is recovering from the losses caused by the corona pandemic, challenges still remain.
