The big spectacle in Bremen, that HOEG City Summer Festival, started on June 29, 2023 and transformed Bremen's city center into a lively event location. The event runs until July 1st and offers visitors a colorful program with over 40 artists. At the opening on the first day, the Bremen allstars “Caliber 38 reloaded” created a good atmosphere with their opening concert on the market square. Weser courier reported that numerous bands will be performing on five stages in the city. The festival doesn't just offer an experience for adults. On the newly designed ÖVB adventure area in the Hanseatenhof, children will find numerous play stations and exciting activities. This creates the framework so that the whole family gets their money's worth and can experience the joy of music and culture together.
Each stage has its own flair. There will be a special presentation by Bremen Eins and Bremen Vier on the market square, while the Domshof will have a more rocking program. The WESER KURIER children's stage also caters for the little guests at the Lloyd Passage. In the picturesque setting of Schnoor, visitors will also find entertaining walking acts that make the festival even more lively.
