Eleven-year-old Severino M. from Frankfurt missing – police are asking for information!
The disappearance of a little boy is causing great concern in Frankfurt am Main. 11-year-old Severino M. has been missing since this morning, October 30, 2025, at 11:40 a.m. The student was last seen leaving his school in Biegweg, apparently after an argument. The police now have their hands full trying to get information about his whereabouts, but so far there are no leads.
Severino could be in an emotional state of emergency, which is something family and friends are very worried about. A description of the missing child will help with the search: He is male, 11 years old, about 146 cm tall and weighs around 34 kg. His appearance is characterized by his blonde, short hair.
Last sighting and information on clothing
At the time of his disappearance, Severino was wearing a black softshell or sports jacket with striking red applications, marked by red arrows on the arms. He also wore black sweatpants and white shoes with black stripes. The police are asking the public for help. Information should be reported directly to the Frankfurt Criminal Investigation Department on 069 755-51199 or to any other police station. Every clue can be crucial!
The role of the police and the BKA
A look at the general conditions shows that the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) has been acting as the central criminal police body in Germany since 1951. According to information from the BKA, someone is considered missing if they are inexplicably absent from their location and there is a threat to their safety. Action is taken quickly, especially when it comes to minors, as they are usually taken into state care when they are absent if their whereabouts are unclear. Unlike adults, who are free to decide where they want to be, children and young people require special attention and protection.
In 2024, around 18,100 children were reported missing in Germany. Fortunately, 96.7 percent of these cases were resolved by the end of the year. Nevertheless, the number of missing children remains a big issue, not only in Frankfurt but nationwide. In recent years, unaccompanied minor refugees have repeatedly been affected; in 2024 there were around 4,300, many of whom ran away from their accommodation.
The police strive to act quickly in such cases and to initiate large-scale searches if there is acute danger. In this context, various police authorities work together to ensure that the search is as uncomplicated and effective as possible. If there is evidence of a stay abroad, the BKA comes into play and can intervene in an international search. In Severino's case, every clue is important in order to find him as quickly as possible and bring him to safety.
We hope that this case is solved quickly and Severino returns home safely. Keep your eyes open and help!
