Hesse celebrates diversity: New calendar for a shared tomorrow!

On November 5, 2025, the newly designed calendar “Feels like Hessen” took the stage and sets a strong example for diversity and community. In collaboration with the World Design Capital Frankfurt RheinMain 2026, which focuses on the topic "Design for Democracy. Atmospheres for a better life", the calendar aims to make inclusion and cultural diversity in Hesse visible. Economics Minister Kaweh Mansoori emphasizes that Hessian cultural and creative workers have great potential that needs to be discovered.

The calendar has the motto “Looking forward – shaping tomorrow together” and focuses on the cornerstones of coexistence and visions for future-oriented urban development. The submitted works included photographs, illustrations and graphics that depict the diverse facets of life in Hesse. Let's take a look at the winners of the calendar motifs for 2026:

Architecture that inspires

In addition to cultural initiatives, there are also exciting architectural developments in Hesse. For example, the Rock House in Coconut Grove, South Florida, which is considered an iconic project by the Strang architectural firm. With its combination of steel and stone and a roof influenced by the Sarasota School of Architecture, the home turns heads. The monumental stone base is reminiscent of tropical architecture, and the dense landscape surrounding the Rock House conveys a feeling of the exotic. Completed in 2004 and featured in the film adaptation of Miami Vice, this project shows how diverse and creative architecture can be.

Crowdfunding for innovative projects

If you are looking for the best ways to finance your own projects, you should take a look at crowdfunding. A carefully structured campaign is essential, especially for the development of bridge aggregators. What is important is the definition of the project and the value it offers. A clear problem description, combined with innovative solutions, can attract investors.

Successful crowdfunding can involve different models, be it through token-based approaches or community pre-sales. It's crucial to build a strong online presence to attract potential supporters and encourage engagement. In this way, creative initiatives, similar to the “Feels like Hessen” calendar, can be more visible to the public, while architectural masterpieces like the Rock House continue to push the boundaries of design.

Through creative concepts and community engagement, such projects not only get into people's minds, but also enrich the cultural life of our cities.
