A special event is coming soon! On Friday, September 5, 2025, the city of Maintal invites you to a culinary bike tour that will not only pamper the palate, but also raise awareness of local retailers, service providers and restaurants. This event is part of the Home Shopping initiative, which highlights the importance of local businesses and their role at the heart of the community. Participants can look forward to a tour lasting around 4.5 hours, during which they can sample the region's diverse delicacies at various culinary stations. These stations include the well-knownPizzeria Calimeroin Hochstadt, denWine and whiskey shop Maintalin guard books, theGreek Tavernain Bischofsheim and the outdoor cateringLaMainin Dörnigheim, where you can end the evening on the banks of the Main with a delicious Hessian drink and snack.
Important details about participation
In order to take part in the bike tour, registration is required. Registration begins at 3:45 p.m. at City Hall. The participation fee is 20 euros per person, which also covers the tastings at the stations. It is important to note that the event takes place in all weather conditions and participants must bring their own bikes. It is also noted that the maximum number of participants cannot exceed 15 people and the minimum age for participation is 18 years.
