The route in detail
The competition starts at 6:25 a.m. for the professionals and at 6:35 a.m. for all other participants in the Langener Waldsee. The swimming distance is 3.8 kilometers and takes place in the idyllic forest lake. Then we go on a 180 kilometer long cycle route that leads through the Frankfurt area. The final marathon runs along the Main, right next to Frankfurt city center. The finish on the historic Römerberg promises emotional moments for both the athletes and the spectators. Traffic and participant information
There will be significant restrictions on race day due to traffic closures. Drivers should prepare and park outside restricted areas. The best possible route is provided by public transport, where additional S-Bahn connections are being set up on line S6. Subways and trams are also restricted throughout the day. The best places for spectators are at the Langener Waldsee, at the Alte Brücke, at “The Beast” in Enkheim and on the Museumsufer.
