Something is happening in Gelnhausen! The city is attracting creative minds with an exciting series of events during the 2025 summer holidays. Under the motto “Do-it-yourself – creativity instead of a throwaway society” various creative workshops and guided tours are offered for children. The aim of this initiative is to offer young participants an informative and entertaining cultural experience that they will not soon forget. Registration for the workshops is easy online via the website www.gelnhausen.de/tickets or possible directly at the tourist information office at Obermarkt.
The events are diverse and offer something for every age group. From the “Naturally Beautiful” cosmetics workshop, which will take place on Monday, July 14th, 2025, to the “Treasure Chest” pottery workshop, to the “Summer Lanterns” paper workshop on Thursday, July 17th, 2025 – there is something here for every creative mind. With all of these offers, children can not only have fun, but also learn how to make products themselves instead of simply consuming them. A great concept that is sure to bring joy to many children!
