In the coming week, table tennis will really get down to business! They start on Tuesday WTT Champions in Frankfurt 2025. The event will take place in the Frankfurt Ball Sports Hall and promises to be a spectacle for the world elite in table tennis.
Among the participating athletes is the outstanding Sabine Winter. The Bad Soden native is currently the best German player in the women's competition and Europe's number one. In the first round she will face Fu Yu from Portugal and will certainly give everything to confirm her achievements on the international stage.
German cracks in focus
None other than Benedikt Duda will also take part in the competition. Germany's best table tennis player has a tough challenge ahead of him in Shunsuke Togami from Japan. And Dimitrij Ovtcharov, known from the ranks of the TTC Fulda-Maberzell, will also face newcomer Andre Bertelsmeier in his opening game. It remains exciting to see whether these top performers in the German table tennis scene can prove themselves in their first round.
