On the night of June 15th to 16th there was a brazen theft at the Trave rest area on the A1 near Reinfeld. Unknown perpetrators stole around 400 liters of diesel fuel from a parked DAF tractor-trailer. According to police, the incident happened between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. when the perpetrators broke the lock on the lockable fuel cap and siphoned off the fuel. Unfortunately, such fatal acts have increased sharply.
The Bad Oldesloe police motorway station has started investigating this case. In order to hold those responsible to account, the authorities rely on the public's help.
