Regional highlights: Advent magic and events in November!
There is a lot of new news to report in the region! The most choral event of the month is coming up on November 23rd: the choral concert “The Friends” is sure to delight many visitors. Apart from that, there is an Advent walk in Seligenstadt that starts on November 28th and continues on other dates, December 4th and 19th. Organizer Roland Wolf welcomes registrations at info@rolandbabbelt.de or by phone at 06182 – 27490. The festival of the senses is rounded off with the traditional St. Nicholas Trial at the MSC KKB on December 7th.
And even more good news: From November 29th to January 11th, the nativity scene exhibition will take place in the museum at the RadWerk in Klein-Auheim. A small anniversary is being celebrated here, because the local history and history association is still looking for nativity scenes for this special exhibition. Anyone interested can contact Viola Koppen at Viola.Koppen@Klein-Auheim.de or 015120225701.
Current news from local politics
Furthermore, an environmentally conscious trend can be seen in Hainburg, as students at the Johannes Kepler School in Klein-Krotzenburg are actively committed to environmental protection. In an art project, they are designing a mural in the railway underpass in Großkrotzenburg to properly celebrate the community's 850th anniversary.
Awards and honors
A very special event took place recently when Frank Lehmann (83) from Steinheim was awarded the state letter of honor. Mayor Dr. Maximilian Bieri presented the award, recognizing Lehmann's achievements. In addition, another celebratory evening was held on June 27th at the Franziskanergymnasium Kreuzburg, where 124 students were bid farewell, with 119 receiving the general university entrance qualification.
A new board of directors for the hospice group was also elected in Seligenstadt, with Thomas Weyer taking charge as the new chairman. This shows how much social commitment is valued and actively promoted in the region.
