There were several traffic accidents in Eschwege on Wednesday that kept the police on tenterhooks. Failure to yield right of way and parking accidents
In the afternoon a serious accident without right of way occurred in Eltmannshausen. A 47-year-old man from Geismar overlooked the right of way of a 65-year-old man from Meißner, which resulted in significant damage amounting to 13,000 euros. This sum consists of 5,000 euros and 8,000 euros for the vehicles involved.
Another accident occurred at 3:55 p.m. in a parking lot in Witzenhausen. While maneuvering there was a collision between a 49-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man, causing damage worth 2,100 euros.
Wildlife accidents are increasing
