Creative holidays for children: games, fun and action in Biebrich!
The “Happy Holidays on Site” project starts in Wiesbaden on Monday, July 14, 2025 with a colorful offer. This free and open play and cultural offering is specifically intended for children aged six to twelve and takes place in districts with particular social needs. The organizers have decided on a holiday lasting six weeks in order to offer children a variety of creative activities. On each day of the event, little visitors can enjoy exciting offerings from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., such as talent shows, Olympics and many other creative workshops. Loud Wiesbaden Current Among other things, campfires with stick bread, bouncy castles and handicrafts invite you to join in.
The project is supported by up to eight experienced supervisors who, together with regional theater artists, create atmospheric cultural highlights. A special treat is the self-organized flea market, which gives children the opportunity to show their creative skills and run their own market stall. The Wiesbaden city administration emphasizes that a weekly surprise event and a joint follow-up meal on the last day of each week should give the children unforgettable experiences.
Dates and locations of the holiday program
The program takes place at various locations in Wiesbaden. In the first week, from July 14th to 18th, the Gräselberg in the middle will be the venue for fun and games. The other dates are:
- Woche 3: 21. bis 25. Juli, Biebrich, Parkfeld
- Woche 4: 28. Juli bis 1. August, Bergkirchenviertel, Schulberg
- Woche 5: 4. bis 8. August, Hollerborn, Mittelheimer Straße
- Woche 6: 11. bis 15. August, Sauerland, Sauerlandpark
This offer is part of a larger commitment to children and young people, which aims to promote social participation and improve future opportunities. The SPI Foundation highlights that such projects help to reduce discrimination and strengthen the responsibility of the young generation by directly involving them in their interests and needs.
“Happy Holidays on Site” not only offers a welcome change from the regular holidays, but also a valuable opportunity for children to express their creativity and make new friends. The social department will be available on site during the events and everyone interested is looking forward to lively weeks under the motto “Games, fun and lots of creativity”.
