FC Hagen/Uthlede on the ground: 1:8 defeat shocks coach von Glahn!
FC Hagen/Uthlede is in a deep crisis: On August 24, 2025, the team suffered a bitter 8-1 defeat against MTV Eintracht Celle. This defeat followed two previous defeats, including a 1:2 against SV Drochtersen/Assel II and a 2:5 against SV Blau-Weiß Bornzeile. Coach Joshua von Glahn expressed shock at his team's catastrophic performance and admits that the responsibility also lies with him. FC Hagen/Uthlede is currently in last place in the table with 0 points and a goal difference of 4:15. Weser courier reports that the goals for Celler were distributed among six players: Areen Hussa Al Zoubi (5th, 33rd), Tom Schaper (12th), Hannes Reichel (16th), Michael Trautmann (64th), Jean-Luca van Eupen (86th) and Mika Höppner (90th). David Subasic scored the consolation goal for Hagen/Uthlede in the 51st minute.
An exciting top game, however, was the meeting between MTV Eintracht Celle and FC Hagen/Uthlede last Saturday, where FC Hagen/Uthlede triumphed and beat Celler 4-1. This leg now became a stumbling block for Celle as they slipped from fourth to seventh place in the table. This encounter took place in front of around 150 spectators at the sports facility on Nienburger Straße. Coach Hilger Wirtz from Celle was calm about the defeat: “The young team is still at the beginning of its development,” said Wirtz. Despite fewer chances to score in the first half, Hagen/Uthlede was able to take the lead through a quick counterattack by Kai Diesing in the 35th minute. What was exciting were the two red cards shown by Nils Göcke in the 43rd minute and Tim Struwe in the 88th minute. Hagen/Uthlede showed themselves to be the “more ripped off team” and were able to assert themselves as deserved winners. Celler newspaper
