The PNE Group has made a significant deal, selling a photovoltaic project in Poland to the ORLEN company. This reports IT Boltwise. The solar park, which has an output of around 40 MW, will directly supply electricity to the ORLEN refinery in Pock. This step not only contributes to corporate sustainability, but also to the decarbonization of an important industrial cluster in Europe.
PNE Polska, known as a strong partner for blue-chip energy companies, stands out for its ability to develop tailor-made energy solutions. The project has been classified as “Ready-to-Build-plus,” meaning it already has the necessary building permits and offers for general contractors have been received. ORLEN plans to select a contractor by 2026 to make the solar farm operational by 2028.
