Diverse cultural program: North German afternoons in Cuxhaven!
A very special series of events will be launched in Cuxhaven in autumn 2025 that will focus on the cultural facets of Northern Germany. The Nordseeheilbad Cuxhaven GmbH invites you to a varied program in the Windjammer event hall in Duhnen, which includes theater, cabaret, music, readings and lectures. The aim is to familiarize citizens as well as holidaymakers and day visitors with North German culture.
The series of events, which opens right at the beginning with a performance by the accordion friends on September 17th, will show the Olenbrooker Schlüsenchor on September 21st and continues with performances by local groups and literary contributions from the Seaman's Mission Cuxhaven. In December, Döser Speeldeel will present the piece “B and B – Blockbuster Bestseller” on Platt. There is also the lecture “Faszination Seafaring – A look behind the scenes”, also by the German Seaman’s Mission. The events are all free of charge and allow visitors to be particularly close to the stage in a homely atmosphere.
