Big equestrian tournament in Heiligenrode: horses, prestige and pure excitement!

The big equestrian tournament at the Heiligenrode riding club will attract spectators to the Dierks family's riding facility on Schmalen Damm over the next two weekends. In view of the bad weather conditions that abruptly ended last year's tournament after the first day, the organizers are hoping for everything to run smoothly this time. Once again, the passion for equestrian sports will blossom in our region, because the preparations have been made and the anticipation is palpable.[ Weser courier ]

A total of six days of tournaments are on the program, during which riders from near and far will fight for titles and recognition. On the first day of the tournament, which is entirely dedicated to show jumping, spectators can look forward to exciting competitions. Those taking part are the best young horses, who already come from respected stables and face the judgment of experienced judges.[ Weser courier ]

Diverse program for young and old

All horse fans should keep an eye on the schedule! On Fridays, the focus is on promoting young horses with tests in various classes, including the M* class show jumping horse test at 5.30 p.m. On Saturday, spectators can enjoy the sporting mix, which includes, among other things, the class L test with increasing demands. The highlight is also the M** test on Saturday, while Sunday is dedicated to the amateur style jumping tests.[ Weser courier ]

Equestrian sport on the rise

The enthusiasm for various equestrian disciplines is constantly growing. For example, working equitation, which is presented at events such as the Pferde International in Munich, is becoming increasingly popular. This discipline not only offers action and exciting competitions, but also has a clear focus on horse training. Particular attention is paid to young riders who can assert themselves in sub-disciplines in order to qualify for the European Championships.[ Horse International ]
