48 graduates celebrate their university entrance qualification in Nordhorn – a new path!

On July 1, 2025, the ceremonial graduation ceremony of the technical college for economics, class 12, took place in Nordhorn, at which 48 students from the commercial vocational schools in the Grafschaft Bentheim district received their technical college entrance qualification. This qualification is an important step for many young people on their educational path, as it enables access to technical colleges and thus certifies comprehensive professional competence. This competence includes technical, personal and social skills, which is of great importance for the future professional career, as the German Qualifications Framework describes in detail.

The ceremonial handover of the certificates was celebrated by the class teachers and the coordinator Burkhard Heils. In his speech, Oliver Hindricks, the permanent representative of the school principal, highlighted the most important qualities for the graduates' life: team spirit, perseverance and determination. These qualities are crucial to being successful in your future professional life.

Reflection on the school years

The event received a warm note from the student speech by Aysanur Aydin, Lisa Schumann and Neleen Hackmann. In their words, they reflected not only on the challenges they overcame, but also on the humorous moments, the school trips and the eventful project weeks. Friendships made during school and the shared experiences were at the center of their memories.

In order to give special recognition to the best of the year, the support association awarded the outstanding graduates with a present. This way, this memory of a special time in their lives remains firmly anchored.
