After a loud argument, he heard a total of six shots. “The victim fell to the ground while the shooter ran away,” said Cini. Despite immediate help from passers-by who tried to stop the injured man's bleeding, the emergency doctor arrived too late. A tent was quickly erected at the scene of the crime, where the man eventually died. Cini felt strongly burdened by the possibility that the victim was a relative and was still shaking in shock hours after the incident.
The investigation is ongoing
The police were on site with a large contingent and found three injured suspects: a 19-year-old man from Hanover and two 27-year-olds from the Hanover and Hamburg region. They are suspected of being involved in the altercation and of having fired the fatal shot. Although all three are receiving medical treatment, their injuries are not life-threatening, so they are being guarded by police, reports ZDF.
