Big motorcycle meeting: Nicostars charity ride for children with cancer!

On Sunday, July 13, 2025, a special event will take place at the Alte Harburger Elbbrücke: The Nicostars Charity Ride, which will welcome numerous motorcycle enthusiasts and supporters in its 19th edition. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Hansebikers and friendly clubs will be collecting money for the Children's Cancer Center Hamburg e.V. Association. So far, an impressive 93,765 euros have been donated over the last 18 years and the goal for 2025 is to increase this amount to 100,000 euros.

Participation in the charity ride is not only open to bikers, but also to anyone who would like to support the cause. Everyone is welcome to purchase a charity pin for at least 5 euros, the proceeds of which will go directly to the Children's Cancer Center. To strengthen you, coffee, cake, bratwurst and drinks are offered for a donation, while live music from “JP Kind” and “Nordward Ho” creates a great atmosphere from around 2:30 p.m. Another highlight will be the motorcycle exhibition during the event, which celebrates the passion and culture of motorcycling.

An important concern

As the organizers emphasize, the children's cancer center at the University Hospital Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) is financed exclusively through donations. Therefore, the Nicostars Charity Ride is an important opportunity to raise awareness of the center's work and show the generosity of the biker culture. Bikers have traditionally supported disadvantaged citizens through charity rides, and this charity ride is no exception. The good cause will also be brought to the fore on this day, with the donations being used for tablets, computers and music therapy, among other things, to help the little patients.

The anticipation for the event increases, and all proceeds and any surpluses go directly to the Children's Cancer Center.
