District league remains as it is: No changes for Hamburg!

The tension in the Hamburg district league remains high because the classification for the coming season has now been published by the Hamburg Football Association (HFV). What is also exciting is the announcement that no changes have been made compared to the first classification on June 12th. Coach Frank Bestmann and SC Egenbüttel III had hoped to move to District League 1, but did not find a suitable exchange partner. The problem affected several teams, which were also unable to present partners for a change. The lake landscape in Hamburg football remains largely unchanged.

In District League 1, fans can look forward to the following teams:

  • 1. SV Hörnerkirchen (Absteiger)
  • 2. SC Cosmos Wedel (Absteiger)
  • 3. Wedeler TSV
  • 4. SSV Rantzau II
  • 5. Heidgrabener SV II
  • 6. TuS Appen
  • 7. FC Union Tornesch III
  • 8. TSV Heist
  • 9. Tangstedter SV
  • 10. FC Roland Wedel
  • 11. TuS Borstel
  • 12. SV Lieth II
  • 13. Moorreger SV
  • 14. Rissener SV (versetzt)
  • 15. TSV Sparrieshoop (Neuling)
  • 16. TSV Holm (Neuling)

A look at the district league 2

Some of the best-known teams have also come together in District League 2. These include:

  • 1. Rot-Weiss Wilhelmsburg (Absteiger)
  • 2. FTSV Altenwerder (Absteiger)
  • 3. Buxtehuder SV
  • 4. TSV Buchholz 08 III
  • 5. Harburger TB II
  • 6. FSV Harburg-Rönneburg
  • 7. FC Süderelbe III
  • 8. FC Viktoria Harburg
  • 9. SV Este 06/70
  • 10. SV Wilhelmsburg
  • 11. Harburger SC II
  • 12. FC Dynamo Hamburg (versetzt)
  • 13. Klub Kosova II (Neuling)
  • 14. FC St. Pauli VII (Neuling)
  • 15. Hellas United (Neuling)
  • 16. FC Veddel United (Neuling)

However, the current framework conditions raise questions, especially after Inter 2000 1. zg. hasn't lived up to expectations this season. Not only did they not play in several games in a direct duel, their opponents, including Buxtehude 1. and FSV Harburg-Rönneburg 1., also found themselves unable to defeat them, which makes the competition conditions seem particularly unfavorable. These two teams also met in several other matches.
