Bovender SV tests against Hildesheim: Looking for form!

On Saturday, July 11, 2025, Bovender SV has the opportunity to prove itself in an exciting test match against the upper division club VfV Borussia 06 Hildesheim. Kick-off is at 2 p.m. at the home facility on the Südring. This second test match for the national league club is an important opportunity to test your skills against stronger opponents after suffering a 5-0 defeat against U.S.I Lupo-Martini Wolfsburg in the first attempt. Coach Yannick Broscheit particularly emphasizes how important it is to train the defensive organization against superior opponents in order to be prepared for the upcoming season.

Broscheit sees VfV Hildesheim, which finished eighth last season and reached the semi-finals of the Lower Saxony Cup, as a serious opponent. He counts Hildesheim as one of the top five candidates in the Oberliga and expects them to start the season with the goal of returning to the regional league. The team is well positioned with well-trained players and experienced coach Ridha Kitar.

Return of the players

With some relief, Bovender SV can welcome some injured players back into the squad. New additions such as Theodor Bachmann, Dennis Forpah, Michael Maier and Finn Ellenberger are now available. On the other hand, the Bovenders have to do without some players, including Til Seiger, Hebun Kaplan and Ali Riza Önder, who are still injured. It will be exciting to see how the team presents itself with the new player options.

More test games in sight

However, the test match against Hildesheim is only the start. Bovender SV has already planned further matches against FSV Wolfhagen on July 20th and against Lichtenauer FV on July 26th. These additional games are essential in order to optimally prepare the team for the coming state league season and to continually fine-tune their own style of play.

How the Bovenders will fare against the Hildesheimers remains to be seen. It will be interesting to see whether the team emerges from this test match with a better result. Göttingen Tageblatt has already compiled comprehensive information about this encounter, and also Kicker reports about the upcoming encounter.
