Yesterday, July 7, 2025, an incident occurred that brought the police in Hildesheim to the scene. A black Volkswagen T-Cross, which was parked in a parking bay on the main street in Gronau (Leine), was apparently damaged by another vehicle when it pulled out of the parking space. The accident took place between 4:10 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. and the driver of the vehicle that caused the accident got away without making any claims. The police are now looking for witnesses who can provide information about the person who caused the accident, who fled without permission. They are asked to call 05068/93380, as news.de reports.
As luck would have it, a similar incident was reported in nearby Bad Salzdetfurth on July 3rd, just a few days earlier. Here an unknown road user hit a gray Audi in a parking lot on the street “Am Markt”. In this incident, too, the person who caused the accident left the scene of the accident without permission without informing the injured vehicle owner. The police have started investigating this case and are asking witnesses to call 050639010, as presseportal.de reports.
