Christmas magic in Hildesheim: Take part in the photo campaign with Rolf Zuckowski!

Advent, Advent – the baking begins! Rolf Zuckowski, who thrilled generations with his popular song “In the Christmas Bakery” from 1987, is now calling for people to take part in a very special campaign. As the Hildesheimer Allgemeine Zeitung reports, the Hildesheimer Allgemeine Zeitung, the Kehrwieder am Sonntag and the Alfelder Zeitung are organizing a Christmas photo campaign that focuses on the most beautiful moments while baking cookies.

Readers are invited to send in their “sweet snapshots” from their local bakeries. Whether kneading dough, cutting out cookies, in the oven or snacking - all motifs are welcome. It becomes particularly nostalgic when photos from the black and white era are also submitted. A selection of these wonderful pictures will be published on special Christmas pages, creating a contemplative atmosphere in the run-up to Christmas.

Prizes and surprises

To make participation in this campaign even more attractive, great prizes await participants. You can win, among other things, free tickets for Rasti-Land and the water paradise (each for 4 people), as well as 3 children's free tickets for the bison enclosure. In addition, the first 50 entries will receive a little surprise in the Service Center of the Hildesheimer Allgemeine Zeitung. Digital photos can be easily uploaded online, which makes participation even easier.

To motivate people, Rolf Zuckowski recorded a creative cell phone video. An exciting interview will also be published in the upcoming Christmas supplement in which the artist chats about the creation of his famous song. Who could resist sending in their best baking photos and at the same time reliving the magic of Advent?

A look at the health risks

Finally, we should know that there are also advances in health research that could affect us. A gene called “interferon-induced transmembrane protein 5” plays a role in bone mineralization and is primarily active in osteoblasts. This protein has, like Wikipedia explains, two transmembrane domains and mutations in the gene are associated with osteogenesis imperfecta type 5, a rare bone disease.

Amidst all the sweet treats and pre-Christmas anticipation, it's important to keep both health and enjoyment in mind. So let yourself be inspired and bake with joy - perhaps with a new photo for the campaign!
