An exciting information event is just around the corner: On Wednesday, November 5th, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., an exciting session on the topic of “Marte Meo in pregnancy and babyhood” will take place in the family center, Sollingstraße 101, Holzminden. This event is aimed at expectant and new parents, as well as early childhood professionals who are interested in a strong relationship between parent and child. Holzminden News reports that the event will be led by Annette Langenhan, an experienced Marte Meo therapist and supervisor.
The repeat of the event will be particularly interesting on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Old Town Hall, Bei der Kirche 1, Stadtoldendorf. The aim of these events is to promote the bond between parents and child before birth. The Marte Meo method aims to enable participants to better support their baby's development - above all through conscious observations and sensitive communication.
What is the Marte Meo method?
The Marte Meo method, which means “on your own,” offers an innovative approach to development support. The method aims to activate skills that promote both constructive interactions and personal development. Martemeo describes that the method is based on the precise observation and analysis of everyday interactions. Through video-supported examples, participants learn to better interpret their children's signals.
This method aims to improve the quality of interactions between parents and children, which ultimately contributes to healthier development. The Marte Meo method has already been used in various cultures and professional groups and has proven to be a valuable aid.
