Six new projects for the VoglerRegion: vote on October 7th!
A lot is happening in the Vogler region in the Weserbergland. On Tuesday, October 7th, the **Local Action Group VoglerRegion** will meet in the Citizens and Cultural Center in Lauenförde. Exciting changes are on the agenda: Tino Wenkel is relinquishing the chairmanship, which he has held since November 2023, on a rotating basis. The session promises to be a hit in every sense of the word.
Six interesting projects are up for vote, all of which will be realized with funding from the LEADER program. Here is a brief overview of the projects that could make the region more lively:
LEADER means and their meaning
The LEADER approach, which has been used in the EU member states since the 1990s, plays a central role in the regional development of rural areas. Since its introduction, numerous projects have been launched that not only increase the quality of life, but also strengthen the sense of community. The national CAP strategic plan 2023-2027 relies on these funds to further develop rural communities like ours and create attractive living spaces. 83 regions have applied for the current funding period, including the VoglerRegion, which has defined various fields of action with its Local Development Strategy (LES) that take both the environment and social structure into account.
The upcoming projects are not only designed to improve the infrastructure, but also take into account climate protection and the cultural identity of the region. The funds are controlled via a digital funding platform, and a new impact monitoring system shows the added value of LEADER funding, which increases transparency for citizens.
Invitation to participate
The meeting on October 7th begins at 4 p.m. and is open to the public, so that anyone interested has the chance to actively participate in what is happening. However, if you would like to take part, you should register in advance by email. For anyone who wants to get an overview of regional developments, all information can also be found in the district council information system and on the website www.vogler-region.de.
Be there when it comes to the future of our region! It is the perfect opportunity to see how the VoglerRegion is developing and how we can work together to make our environment sustainable. Under the motto “Strong together” we look forward to lively participation and exciting discussions.
