Experience diversity and encounters: Open doors at mosaique Lüneburg!
Something is happening in Lüneburg! On November 8th and 9th, 2025, the mosaique on Katzenstraße will open its doors to colorful “open days”. This event promises exciting encounters and a varied program that will delight both new and old friends of the institution. [luene-blog] reports that visitors can enjoy various offers on both days, such as consultations, language courses, a dance workshop and the popular evening meal offer.
What exactly can guests expect? The presentation of the offers is on the program on Saturday, November 8th from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There are also crepes, galettes and an international dinner as a special treat. On Sunday things are a little more practical: “Construction Day” promises a lot of time together and working on different projects. A highlight is the vegan take-away brunch, which takes place on November 16th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. - registration is required for this.
Further offers and rooms
The mosaique is not only known for its events, but also for its rooms, which can now be booked for events. Opening hours are Monday to Thursday, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., and there is free coffee or tea as well as a co-working area for creative work. By the way: Vegetarian soups and stews are available for the vesper table, which is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
For special occasions, not only a hall but also meeting rooms for groups of up to 100 people are available. There is also a “m³ offer” with reduced room rent every Wednesday morning. An office space for up to 12 people can be rented on weekends. The mosaique is a voluntary association that has been registered in the association register since March 2017 and is committed to promoting international attitudes, tolerance and supporting the persecuted and refugees.
Intercultural opening
Another aspect that should not go unmentioned in this context is the promotion of social cohesion and diversity. The mosaique makes an important contribution to this by creating access opportunities to various organizations and offers. This service is part of the “People.Life.Integration” project, funded by the Federal Ministry of the Interior and is aimed at people who want to initiate change processes in their organizations [ziviz].
Practical steps for intercultural opening are presented in order to promote exchange between different cultures. This not only creates new connections, but also new ideas and options for action.
All of this makes the mosaique a place where diversity is not only lived but also celebrated. If you want to get creative or just have nice conversations, you definitely shouldn't miss the “Open Days”.
