Fun and games for children: Open Sundays in Oldenburg are starting soon!

The anticipation is increasing! From Sunday, November 9th, the Flötenteich sports hall in Oldenburg invites you to the popular Open Sundays. Here, children aged six to twelve can play and exercise free of charge - a campaign that runs until the Christmas holidays. NWZonline reports that entering the hall is very uncomplicated: registration is not necessary, entry is free. Children meet here to have fun together, without any pressure.

The organizers, including the IGS Flötenteich, the Seifenblase circus school e.V., the Sport in the district am Flötenteich e.V. (BIS e.V.) and the Nadorst elementary school, have put together a varied program. The various activities include climbing, swinging, jumping, kettcar and unicycling, waveboarding, and stilt and ball running. For the little circus artists there is also an area with diabolos, balls and towels as well as a mini field for football.

Space for creativity and peace

Special attention is also paid to a quiet corner where children can paint and read. A healthy fruit break ensures that the little athletes stay well strengthened. On Sunday, November 16th, participants can also look forward to an art and dance workshop with artists from the Golden Youth Club from South Africa. These workshops are an excellent way to combine creativity and movement and make new friends.

The support is provided by young coaches from IGS Flötenteich, which, according to Ines Rosemann from the circus school, ensures an excellent level of support. Bielefeld emphasizes that open play and exercise opportunities such as Open Sundays create important spaces in which children can develop freely and discover their enthusiasm for exercise.

The organizers see the Open Sundays as a significant contribution to promoting healthy lifestyles among children. Annegret Meyer from IGS Flötenteich and BIS e.V. emphasizes the positive effect on the psychosocial health of children. Such an offer not only promotes the joy of exercise, but also strengthens equal opportunities in child development.

The Open Sundays guarantee games, fun and healthy exercise in a pleasant atmosphere. If you live in the area or just want to take a short trip, don't miss the opportunity!
