The pre-Christmas period will soon begin in Lilienthal with a festive tradition: The Lilienthal Lions Club is organizing its Advent calendar campaign for the 20th time. This initiative has become a popular event in recent years and contributes significantly to getting people in the region in the mood for the upcoming holidays. According to that Weser courier The main focus is on supporting social and cultural projects in Lilienthal, Grasberg and Worpswede, with proceeds of around 200,000 euros since the campaign began.
The Advent calendar will be available at many points of sale from November 1st. Anyone interested can purchase the calendars in over 30 stores – including in front of Edeka markets – until the end of November. What makes the whole thing particularly attractive is the price of just 5 euros per calendar. The value of the prizes hidden behind the doors is over 12,700 euros, and the main prize is an exciting river cruise by bike and boat to the Netherlands for two people. The number of prizes is also impressive: 308 non-cash and cash prizes as well as shopping vouchers are waiting for buyers.
Prize giving and collection
The raffles take place daily between December 1st and 24th, and the winning numbers will be announced on the Lions Club homepage and in the WÜMME-ZEITUNG. The winnings can then be picked up in the Lilienthaler Library in the Murkens Hof cultural center. Collection is scheduled on Mondays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., noting that there is no distribution between years. The next raffle after this promotion will take place from January 5th to 29th.
