Music highlights in January: Worpswede rocks with top concerts!
January 2026 will be a real celebration for music lovers at the Worpsweder Music Hall. Again Weser courier reports, there are several top-class concerts and an exciting over-30 party on the program. A varied line-up is offered that leaves nothing to be desired.
A particular highlight are the folk rock band's concertsVersengold, who will present their new album “Eingenordet” on January 9th and 10th. The band, which has been active since 2003 and comes from Osterholz-Scharmbeck, has made a name for itself in the music scene. Their tour continues in March, which includes a stop at Pier 2 in Bremen. The mood is also high in January: On January 17th there will be an over-30s party where DJ Jörg Gebauer plays the classics from five decades. Entry costs 10 euros and is only available at the box office.
Rock and blues in focus
On January 23rd theBlues Caravanshake up the halls with their 20th world tour. With Laura Chavez, Matthew Curry and Elise Frank as headliners, tickets for the concert are available from 29.30 euros. The next day, January 24th, is the legendary rock bandWishbone Ashas a guest. This icon of melodic rock, which was founded in London in 1969, has always distinguished itself through the harmonious interplay of its two lead guitars. Their set list will combine well-known classics as well as rarely played songs from their impressive career, which will be included at the request of many fans. Admission to the concert is 45 euros.
The Wishbone Ash Tour will be an extension of their previous “Wishlist Tour”, which also stops in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Scandinavia in January and February 2026. In addition, the concert in VIFTEN on January 26, 2026 will offer an interesting opportunity for fans who want to experience the band live.
Diverse program and local artists
Another exciting event in the Music Hall is theMusic hall sessionon January 29th. Musicians from Worpswede and Bremen have the opportunity to perform freely here - entry is free. The month ends with Reverend Hardy Hardon’s show on January 31st entitled “The Kong of Rock’n’Roll – Mission to Worpswede”. Admission for this impressive performance by the ensemble, which consists of musicians from various bands, is 31.50 euros.
