Charly is looking for a loving home - help the loyal male dog!

Charly, a bright male dog, is again available for adoption at the Animal Welfare Friends in Peine. The mixed breed, who is now seven years old, currently lives in the Peine animal welfare association after his family had to move due to changed living conditions. Before his time at the animal shelter, however, Charly experienced anything but rosy days: for six years he was kept on a chain in North Rhine-Westphalia without receiving the necessary care and attention. This has only partially dampened his joy of life, because he shows a curious and attentive side that captivates everyone.

Charly was only handed over to the Herne-Wanne animal shelter in August 2024. Despite his tragic past, he is house trained and gets along well with cats. Staying alone for a certain amount of time is also not a problem for him. His loving nature makes him an ideal companion for families with children. However, Charly had already been placed once, but this turned out to be difficult because there were problems living with the children. That's why it's important that his new owners have experience in training dogs and can offer him clear, loving guidance.

The path to a new home

The Peine animal welfare association is currently looking for a permanent and loving home for the cheerful male dog. Anyone interested should not be afraid to contact the animal protection association and provide a self-disclosure. The association is committed to giving animals like Charly a second chance and ensuring they end up in the right hands. It is our responsibility to protect such animals from further neglect.

The commitment that Charly benefits from is not only important in Peine. Organizations such as Humane Animal Partners also support animal rehoming and advocate for animal protection. Their goal is to prevent animal cruelty and connect people with animals. Their programs aim to protect and adopt out unwanted and homeless pets while also reducing pet overpopulation through affordable spay and neuter. Every animal adopted through their organization receives a thorough veterinary examination, is neutered or neutered, and receives age-appropriate vaccinations.

If you are interested in Charly or another animal, you should contact the Peine Animal Welfare Association or Humane Animal Partners immediately. Together we can ensure that the love of these animals doesn't just remain on paper, but actually finds a loving home.
