Experience August in Bückeburg: festivities and cultural highlights!

Things are going to happen in Bückeburg in August 2025! The city has put together a packed program for this month that will captivate both locals and guests. From exhibitions to a street food festival to medieval festivals – there is something for every taste here. It's definitely worth taking a look at the highlights of the coming week!

A kick-off experience awaits visitors Street food festival, which will take place on the Market Square from August 1st to 3rd. The opening takes place on the first evening at 6 p.m. with a tapping of the barrel. On Friday evening, DJ Pushen will ensure a good atmosphere from 8 p.m., while on Saturday the saxophonist Heiko Biermann and the group “Peter Burrack & friends” will get the audience dancing. On Sunday, visitors can expect a cozy breakfast with “Jagerbloosn” from 11:30 a.m. and shopping on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Cultural discoveries and traditions

The exhibition “The Agricultural Women’s Schools of the Reifensteiner Association” can be seen in the Lower Saxony State Archives until November 27th.
