From October 2025, the world of agriculture in the Rotenburg region will be enriched by an exciting new educational offering: The rural people of Rotenburg-Verden are introducing a dual course of study in agricultural management for the first time. This combines practical training and theoretical knowledge in an interesting way. The dual course of study is designed to last three years and combines varied theoretical phases at the Saxony Cooperative State University in Dresden with practical units in the company. The introductory event for enrollment begins on October 1st, 2025, while the first practical phase starts on October 2nd. The former dual students have already done pioneering work here. Insights into business administration and current topics from crop production to tax law to quality management will be part of the course. The educational offering is aimed at people with a university or technical college entrance qualification and a certain basic understanding of agriculture, although this is not absolutely necessary. It is also mentioned that the course is usually combined with training to become a farmer. Culture meets agriculture
