FC Verden 04 brings in Sajieh Jaber: New assistant coach is convincing!

FC Verden 04 introduced a new assistant coach today: Sajieh Jaber will now support head coach Bastian Reiners. The 32-year-old Jaber, who previously worked as an assistant coach at Bremer SV, brings a breath of fresh air to the sidelines with his experience. The club officials have high hopes for the former defender, who has been known since his time in football.

Jaber, who was born on August 8, 1993, joined the Blue-Whites in 2016 and moved to Bremer SV in 2018. During his time there, contact with FC Verden remained due to test matches and former players. Sporting director Nicolas Brunken particularly emphasizes Jaber's organizational talent and his sporting expertise. “He has a good hand and brings fresh input to our team,” said Brunken.

Experience and emotions

With eight years of experience as an assistant coach, mainly in the regional league, Jaber knows what is important in football. Jannis Niestädt, head of defense at FC Verden 04, particularly appreciates Jaber's emotional nature and the way he strengthens the bond with the players. “He knows many of us, which helps enormously,” emphasizes Niestädt. In addition, Jaber is also friends with Lukas Muszong, which will certainly make it easier to get into the new team.

An agreement was initially reached with the collaboration until the end of the season, but a possible extension is also in the offing. Jaber sees this as an opportunity to establish his ideas and style and to further develop the team. FC Verden 04 has thus taken a decisive step towards a successful future.

Setting the course for the future

As is usual in the fast-moving world of football, clubs are paying more and more attention to the qualifications of their coaches. Today, football clubs not only act in a sporting way, but also economically like modern companies. This is where further training comes into play, because in-depth knowledge of the background of sports management can be the basis for a successful career in football. Opportunities for qualification, for example through programs on IS, are essential for many trainers in order to successfully fill management positions.

Although he has not been in the coaching business for long, Jaber has already proven that he has the necessary know-how to be successful as a coach. His successor at Bremer SV, Torsten Krieg-Hasch, will now take on this challenge, while Jaber goes his own way at FC Verden 04.

The next few weeks will show how quickly the team develops under Jaber's leadership. As we all know, football is a team sport, and with a strong coach on the bench, FC Verden 04 could really excel in the league! District newspaper reported about the new challenges that now await the players and their new assistant coach.
