Creative branch sculptures: Ulrike Gölner inspires children and adults!
Creativity is the order of the day in Verden today! The artist Ulrike Gölner invites you to an exciting workshop in which participants work with twigs and other natural materials. The event takes place in the former “Blickfang” and is aimed at adults and children aged ten and over. Here everyone can live out their ideas and design individual sculptures, without any instructions from Gölner. The participants want to let their creativity run free and explore new ways of artistic expression. District newspaper reports that the artist, born in Wohlendorf in 1958, studied sculpture at the University of the Arts in Bremen and took part in numerous exhibitions and symposia at home and abroad. She currently lives and works in Martfeld.
What's particularly exciting is that Gölner normally works with chainsaws and tree trunks, but for this workshop he used smaller materials such as twigs. Participants can choose from a variety of materials such as raffia and colorful paper. The youngest among them, 7-year-old Ottilie, already has experience from her forest kindergarten. Together with her grandmother, she creates a happy atmosphere, while other participants also first have to decide what they want to create with the materials provided.
Creative future in the art laboratory
The art laboratory in Verden aims to create an experimental space in which people of all ages can engage in artistic activities and exchange ideas. It is pleasing to see that the use of empty spaces for such creative offerings is met with a positive response. In addition to Gölner, there are also other projects that promote art and creativity. Young people and children can explore different forms of artistic expression in workshops. Verden.de offers an overview of upcoming events covering a wide range of creative pursuits, from painting on textiles to customizable spell books.
Another fascinating aspect is the possibility of working over several seminar days. The dates are well planned and offer enough flexibility - participants can drop by spontaneously or register straight away by calling 04231 66 088 64. A lively exchange between the participants is encouraged, which creates an enriching experience for everyone.
The approach of combining different artistic disciplines, as in Free workshop principle described, ensures that encounters between people with different experiences and biographies take place. This strengthens the community feeling and opens up new horizons in creative work.
The Art Lab in Verden has the potential to not only nurture artistic talent, but also bring the community together and create a sense of belonging. So if you're looking for a creative afternoon, you shouldn't miss the next event!
