In the beautiful city of Aachen, the fire department was once again in top form last night. At 3 a.m. a fire broke out on Peterstrasse, which quickly spread to a restaurant and the apartments above. But the brave firefighters were quickly on the scene and rescued those affected via windows and balconies.

More fires during the night
During the operation, two more fires were reported to the fire department, which made the situation even more difficult. A fire was reported in the European high-rise on Joseph-von-Görres-Straße, which fortunately was not confirmed. However, three garages burned down on Hein-Janssen-Strasse. The fire broke out in the roof of the four-story building. At least most of the residents were able to escape themselves. But the four-story building sustained significant damage and residents' return to their apartments remains uncertain.
