Bochum couple wins dream villa: 2.7 million euros in the Alpine paradise!

A completely normal couple from Bochum hit the jackpot! Jürgen Möllenhoff (59) and his wife Meike (67) win an impressive villa in the picturesque Upper Bavarian foothills of the Alps. Their winnings have a total value of around 2.7 million euros, plus 100,000 euros in cash - a real dream for the two, who previously lived in a 200-year-old half-timbered house that urgently needed to be renovated.

With the prize, organized by the social lottery Omaze, the renovation chapter is finally over for the couple. The new villa not only comes with a modern design, but is also fully equipped: large window fronts, open rooms, a spacious kitchen with a cooking island, an entertainment area with a home cinema and luxurious amenities such as a sauna and a fitness area await you. A heated outdoor tub perfectly rounds off the feel-good ambience.

Omaze – A win with social goals

Omaze's concept is primarily to use its income to support charitable projects. Loud Bavarian Radio At least 30 percent of sales go to organizations such as Plan International or SOS Children's Villages. The Christian children's and youth organization "Die Arche" is currently being supported with a guaranteed donation of at least 500,000 euros - a good reason to take part in the lottery while at the same time having the chance to secure a dream home.

Omaze acts as a state-regulated operator and is subject to the supervision of the Joint Gaming Authority of the States (GGL). A certified random algorithm is used to draw the winners to ensure fairness. However, the actual number of tickets sold and the associated chances of winning are kept secret, which may seem a little opaque to some players.

The lottery offer

The tickets are available online and are quite affordable: 20 tickets start at 10 euros, or you can buy 50 tickets for 25 euros. There are no hidden costs such as property transfer tax or notary, which makes the whole thing very transparent. Game stakes can even be chosen as a regular subscription, as is the case with similar social lotteries such as Human Action is common. Here too, the income flows into social projects. However, participants must respond that there are no cancellation rights as with normal online purchases.

Jürgen Möllenhoff, who works as an IT administrator, and his wife Meike, who works as a forensic expert, can look forward to a new life in their dream villa. This story shows that a little luck and supporting charitable causes can go hand in hand.
