Bushido cancels Heroes Festival in Lower Franconia at short notice!
The German rapper Bushido canceled his appearance at the Heroes Festival in Lower Franconia at short notice. The reason for this sudden decision is health problems, as various media reports. His fans found out about the cancellation, which was scheduled for June 22nd and 23rd, 2025 in the Bavarian Geiselwind, via social media. In addition to Bushido, the line-up also included prominent artists such as Domiziana, Finch and Money Boy.
In an Instagram story, Bushido, real name Anis Ferchichi, expressed his regret about the cancellation. “I was really looking forward to the festival atmosphere,” said the 46-year-old. Nevertheless, he hopes to be able to reconnect with his fans during his farewell tour in January and March 2026. This tour, entitled “Everything will be fine,” marks the end of his 25-year career in German rap.
A look at Bushido's career
Bushido, who began his musical career at the end of the 1990s, has established himself as an undisputed force in German rap. His breakthrough came with the album “From the curb to the skyline” in 2003, which sold over 300,000 copies. In the following years he won various awards, including the Echo, Bambi and the MTV Europe Music Awards. His albums “Carlo Cokxxx Nutten” and “7” were also very successful both commercially and critically, with sales of 400,000 copies for “7”.
Bushido's musical development was heavily influenced by US gangsta rap. In addition, by founding his own label “Ersguterjunge”, he has proven that he also has a good hand as an entrepreneur. His musical presence extends far beyond the stage, as he is also featured in several documentaries, including “Times Change You” and “Uncensored – Bushido's Truth”.
A personal insight
Despite his public persona, Bushido also has a private life that he occasionally shares with his followers. Born in Bonn, who grew up in Berlin and now lives with his family in Dubai, he is married to Anna-Maria Ferchichi and has seven children, including triplets. These family values are reflected in his life and his music.
The road to this point in his career wasn't always easy. Bushido has often been involved in controversies and media scandals, including a dispute with rapper Fler that has been going on since 2004. Despite all the challenges, he has inspired a new generation of artists and continues to be a defining figure in German gangsta rap.
The cancellation of his appearance could be a disappointment for many of his fans, but with the upcoming “Everything will be fine” tour there is a chance for a reunion. As the media reports, Bushido hopes to inspire and engage his fans more than ever during this final stage of his musical journey. The enthusiasm for his music remains unbroken despite his health problems.
