Secondary school students at the Christophorusschule celebrate their graduations with brilliance and enthusiasm!

On July 7, 2025, the time had finally come: the graduation ceremony for the 78 students of the Christophorusschule Oberurff took place and thrilled everyone with a special motto that was reminiscent of a well-known Swedish furniture store. In his speech, Rector Dirk Müller-Maguhn emphasized how important this moment is in the graduates' educational journey. For many of them, it is the step into the next exciting phase, be it an internship, a technical college, an apprenticeship or a high school diploma.

The performance of Virginia Tkocz from class 10D, who was honored with a grade of 1.1, was particularly outstanding. She also received the Christophorus Prize for her special commitment. Other students were also able to shine with excellent grades: Nikita Alliyah Adolf from class 10C, Justus Piet Meuer from 10F and Niklas Frederik Happe from 10G were among the top graduates.

A look back at school days

At this year's graduation ceremony, it was not only possible to look back with joy on the personal successes, but also on the special moments that the students experienced during their time at school. The school trip to Berlin, which was presented by classes 10C and 10D with a lovingly compiled film and a slide show, is particularly memorable. These retrospectives created an emotional atmosphere in which students expressed their gratitude to teachers, parents and classmates.

Comparable statistics show that, on average, students in the entire North Rhine-Westphalia region experience comparable challenges and successes. According to annual surveys from educational institutions in North Rhine-Westphalia, the number of school leavers has remained stable in recent years, a sign of the good work of local schools. Information about school statistics in Germany is also well documented, as can be seen on the Education Server website. [Education Server] confirms that the statistics provide important clues for the development of education systems.

All in all, an impressive achievement that not only makes the graduates proud, but also the entire environment of the Christophorusschule Oberurff. The future awaits, and the possibilities are promising!
