Big things are happening in Dortmund: Materna SE recently moved into its new headquarters. With an impressive new building that offers a total area of 62,863 square meters, the company not only creates space for its approximately 1,800 employees, but also sets an example for a modern working environment and cosmopolitanism. Within a few months, around 1,000 doors were installed, which are not only functional but also meet strict fire protection requirements. These doors, including large-format fire protection elements of types 70 and 48, can close automatically in the event of a fire, thus securing workplaces. Arcguide highlights that the double-leaf doors are up to 2.5 meters high and are equipped with the latest safety and control technology. The installation was carried out in close cooperation with Hermann Jackson GmbH, which acted as a reliable partner.
The design of the doors includes flush surfaces and integrated door closers, which are not only practical but give the entire building a modern feel.
