Big relay festival: fun for the whole family in Hochfeld and Neudorf
On September 6th, 2025, people will meet in Hochfeld to celebrate a colorful relay festival together. The Evangelical Church Community of Hochfeld-Neudorf invites everyone to the Pauluskirche, where the festival will open at 11 a.m. Under the motto “Together on the Road”, visitors can expect a varied program that has something to offer for young and old. No matter whether you are interested in a delicious breakfast, enjoy listening to music or want to take part in entertaining activities for children - everyone is sure to get their money's worth here.
After breakfast, things get down to sport: the festival community cycles or hikes to the Neudorf community center at Wildstrasse 31. Once there, a delicious coffee table awaits the participants at 2:30 p.m., accompanied by fragrant cake and exciting children's entertainment. A real highlight for little visitors!
From station to station
The journey then continues to the church meadow at the Christ Church on Gustav-Adolf-Straße. Here the entire afternoon is accompanied by cheerful sounds and the big closing ceremony takes place at 6 p.m. The celebration ends comfortably with campfire romance, grilled sausages and communal song singing. So there is plenty of reason to talk to each other and celebrate the neighborhood.
But even in uncomfortable weather you don't have to miss out on having fun. If it rains, the celebration will continue in the foyer of the community center at Gustav-Adolf-Straße 65. However, the grill remains outside and still creates a pleasant atmosphere.
