From Monday, November 3rd to Saturday, November 8th, citizens can hand in their leaves at the recycling centers in Gevelsberg and Witten. The recycling centers have special opening times so that everyone can safely get rid of their leaves in a timely manner. The doors are open from Monday to Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Thursday and Friday until 5:30 p.m. On Saturday you can stop by from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Important to note: Only leaves are accepted free of charge; Green waste and other garden waste must still be disposed of for a fee.
