A really big thing is currently being celebrated in the music scene: The Danish metal band Volbeat has made it to first place in the German album charts for the fifth time with their new album “God of Angels Trust”. This reports Radio Euskirchen. In just five weeks of production, the band managed to create another highlight of their discography. A true work of art that impresses both fans and critics.
What is particularly noteworthy is that “God of Angels Trust” is Volbeat's fifth number one position in the Official German Charts. These charts are provided by GfK Entertainment determined on behalf of the Federal Association of the Music Industry and are based on comprehensive sales and streaming data from around 2,600 retailers. This covers 90 percent of the entire German music market. The charts not only provide an overview, but also help consumers with their purchasing decisions.
The competition never sleeps
This week, however, Volbeat not only had to face its own performance, but also the competition. The German rock band Willkuer has secured second place with their new album “Drei”.
