There is exciting news for summer vacationers at Münster/Osnabrück Langen Airport near the train station! Due to strong demand, two airlines, Sun Express and Pegasus Airlines, are increasing flight connections to Antalya, one of the most popular holiday destinations for Germans. The Lufthansa subsidiary has decided this with a view to the upcoming summer months. According to wa.de, Sun Express will offer up to five flights daily to Antalya from July to October, for a total of 27 flights per week.
But that's not all! Pegasus Airlines is also following suit and is adding six additional flights to the Turkish coastal city in July. The fact that 1.28 million passengers have already flown from the airport in 2024 - a huge increase of 30% compared to the previous year - suggests that there is good business for the airlines and the airport. 124,000 passengers were already handled in the first quarter of 2025, indicating that the recovery in air travel remains well underway.
